Request a video

Viewabo Request helps keep customer support moving when a significant portion of support goes through asynchronous channels, such as email.


From Viewabo

  1. You can initiate a Viewabo Request by clicking “Request a video” in two different places - in the top right on the camera icon, or on the streaming play button icon near the bottom of the left menu: 
  2. Select one out of three ways to send a live session link to your customer:

    - SMS text message (you'll need your customer's cell phone number & country)
    - Email
    - Copy and paste the invitation link into a help desk chat or another communication channel.
  3. Once you've successfully sent them a link, the app will confirm where and how you've sent the link.
  1. Once the customer receives and clicks on the invite link, they'll be prompted to check a box to accept Viewabo's terms and conditions.
  2. After checking the box, they can click to continue.
  3. They will be prompted to 'allow' access to their device's camera; once they 'allow', their camera app will open; they can record a video immediately.
  4. When they finish recording, they can choose to retake the video if they'd like.
  5. If they're done recording, they can click "Next", where they'll be prompted to add notes if they wish.
  6. To submit the video, they can click the 'Send Video' button to submit the video.
  7. Once the video is submitted, the agent who initiated the request will be notified in our app under the 'Notifications' feed on the ride side of the top bar.
  8. Click on the fulfilled request notification to view the requested video.

From Freshdesk

  1. From within a new or existing Freshdesk ticket, click to expand the Viewabo dialog on the right side of the ticket workspace.
  2. Click on the “Request” tab in the Viewabo dialog, and then click on “Start a video request”. This will pop you out to our standalone web app on app.viewabo.com. 
  3. Click on “Request a video” on the lower left (bottom of the left navigation menu).
  4. Select one out of three ways to send a live session link to your customer:

    - SMS text message (you'll need your customer's cell phone number & country)
    - Email
    - Copy and paste the invitation link into a help desk chat or another communication channel.

  1. Go to the top menu bar; on the right hand side, click on the Viewabo icon to open the Viewabo app.
  2. Click on "Request Video" tab.
