Start A Live Video

Viewabo Live allows you to start a live video session to provide real-time visual support. Resolve problems for customers by sending a link to access a customer's phone camera to see what they see.


From Viewabo

Once you’re logged in to viewabo.com, you will see two main working areas of your window – the top menu bar and a left navigation menu.

  1. You can start a new Viewabo Live video session by clicking “Start A Session” in two different places - in the top right on the camera icon, or on the streaming play button icon near the bottom of the left menu: 
  2. Select one out of three ways to send a live session link to your customer: 

    - SMS text message (you'll need your customer's cell phone number & country)
    - Email
    - Copy and paste the invitation link into a help desk chat or another communication channel.
  3. Once you've successfully sent them a link, our live session screen will pop up, awaiting the customer's connection.
  4. Once the customer receives and clicks on the invite link, they'll be prompted to check a box to accept Viewabo's terms and conditions.
  5. After checking the box, they can click to continue.
  6. They will be prompted to 'allow' access to their phone's camera; once they 'allow', they will be real-time live streaming their phone's camera directly to you.
  7. The red dot on the tab of your browser window indicates that a live video session is ongoing. You can now start using Viewabo Live to diagnose and resolve your customer's issues.
  8. When you finish a live session, click "End Session" to save your session video recording.

From Freshdesk

You can find the Viewabo app in any Freshdesk support ticket. 

  1. Open the Viewabo app in Freshdesk by creating a new ticket or entering an existing ticket. You'll see it on the right-hand side of your ticket workspace.
  2. You'll see two options within the Viewabo app: start a live session or request a video.
  3. Click on 'Start live session'
  4. Select one out of three ways to send a live session link to your customer: 

    - SMS text message (you'll need your customer's cell phone number & country)
    - Email
    - Copy and paste the invitation link into a help desk chat or another communication channel.
  5. Once you've successfully sent them a link, our live session screen will pop up, awaiting the customer's connection.
  6. Once the customer receives and clicks on the invite link, they'll be prompted to check a box to accept Viewabo's terms and conditions.
  7. After checking the box, they can click to continue.
  8. They will be prompted to 'allow' access to their phone's camera; once they 'allow', they will begin live-streaming their phone's camera directly to you.

  10. When you finish a live session, click 'End Session' to save your session video recording.

From Zendesk

You can find the Viewabo app in the general Zendesk workspace.

  1. You'll see our icon on the right side of the top menu bar. Click it to view the app dropdown.
  2. Select one out of three ways to send a Viewabo Live link to your customer: 

    - SMS text message (you'll need your customer's cell phone number & country)
    - Email
    - Copy and paste the invitation link into a help desk chat or another communication channel.
  3. Once you've successfully sent them a link, our live session screen will pop up, awaiting the customer's connection.
  4. Once the customer receives and clicks on the invite link, they'll be prompted to check a box to accept Viewabo's terms and conditions.
