How Viewabo works, what's included, and how billing is handled.

Sessions

A session begins when your customer opens the support link and a live video connection is established. It counts as one session no matter how long it lasts — a 5-minute call and a 60-minute call each count as one. Sessions are counted per connection, not per link sent, and your allowance resets at the start of each billing period.
It starts the moment the customer grants camera and microphone access and the live connection begins. It ends when your agent clicks the End button — wait for the window to close so the final seconds of the recording are saved.

Devices & Compatibility

A smartphone with a camera and a supported browser. On iPhone, that's iOS 11 or later, opening the link in Safari. On Android, that's Android 5.0 (Lollipop) or later, opening the link in Chrome. A stable connection of at least 1 Mbps is recommended. No app download and no account are required.
A desktop computer running the latest version of Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge. There is nothing to install.
Viewabo works in most regions worldwide. The main exception is mainland China, where local regulatory and network restrictions prevent the service from operating reliably. The best way to confirm Viewabo works where you are is to start a free trial and run a quick test session yourself.

What Your Customer Experiences

No. There is no app to download and no account to create. Your customer taps the link you send and shares their camera directly in their phone's browser.
Their browser opens and asks permission to access the camera and microphone. Once they allow it, the session starts using the phone's rear-facing camera, and your agent can see the live video.
The customer sees the live feed from their own camera, along with your agent's cursor and any annotations drawn on screen. Pausing freezes the video on both the agent's and the customer's screens.

Plans & Session Limits

Every plan includes a set number of video sessions per month, and there's a free trial to start. All plans include unlimited seats — your limit is based on total sessions used across your team, not the number of users. See the pricing page for the current session amounts on each plan.
Service is never interrupted. Additional sessions are billed individually at your plan's per-session overage rate, and you'll receive usage alerts as you approach and reach your limit. If you consistently go over, upgrading is usually the better value. Current overage rates are listed on the pricing page.
No. Your session allowance resets at the start of each billing period and unused sessions do not carry over.

Recordings

Yes. Sessions are recorded so your team can review them afterward and share them with colleagues.
Recordings are retained for a set period based on your plan, counted from the date each session was completed. Once that period ends, the recording is permanently purged and cannot be recovered. See the pricing page for the retention period included with each plan.
Recordings are shared through a secure link with a unique access token. You can add password protection and set the link to expire.

Data & Privacy

Session traffic runs over secure HTTPS connections. Shared recordings are protected by unique access tokens, with optional passwords and expiry dates, and recordings are permanently purged at the end of your plan's retention period. For full details on our security practices, see our security page.

Billing & Cancellation

Billing is handled through Stripe. Your plan becomes active immediately after payment. You can choose monthly or annual billing — annual billing is offered at a discount and is paid upfront. Manage your payment methods, invoices, and plan from the Stripe billing portal, reached under Settings → Plan Information → Manage Billing.
Yes. Upgrades take effect immediately. Downgrades take effect at the start of your next billing period.
Cancel anytime from the Stripe billing portal (Settings → Plan Information → Manage Billing). Your access continues until the end of the current billing period, and you won't be charged again. Your session history and recordings remain accessible until the end of the period and continue to follow your plan's retention policy.
