What happened to Streem
Streem (StreemCore) was a remote video and AR support platform acquired by Frontdoor, Inc. In its FY2024 annual report, Frontdoor stated that it shifted the Streem technology to focus on its own core products and "discontinued this third-party business at the end of 2024."
In practical terms, StreemCore is no longer sold to external B2B customers, and streem.com now redirects to Frontdoor's corporate site. The technology continues internally at Frontdoor — but if you were a Streem customer or were evaluating it, it's no longer an option you can license.
